Wir sind als Wandertruppe nach 7 Tagen Bergaufenthalt hier durch Zufall gelandet, wurden sehr nett bedient (obwohl wir sicher eher wild als zermatt-like gestylt waren), haben lecker gespeist und werden dann noch über den insbesondere für Zermatt niedrigen Preis positiv überrascht! (Einige von uns hatten das Tagesmenü gewählt - unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis) ~ Andreas S
If you find yourself in Zermatt, I definitely recommend making a special trip to Zermama Bistro. From the moment you step foot into the lobby, you are greeted with a smile and seated according to your table preference. For breakfast, they offer both a buffet and menu options. I chose the French toast and requested a side of pesto eggs. The food arrived in a timely manner, and I sat outside enjoying the view while those who had woken up early to ski were returning to the village to rest or grab a meal. It was very peaceful, and the atmosphere felt refreshing. Both servers were kind, and you could tell they genuinely care about their work—from the way they carefully craft your coffee to the beautiful artistic presentation of the food. We loved this bistro, lively find on our last day in Zermatt. Staff polite and very helpful I had a coffee with my dad at the outdoor seating while waiting for our family to return from the mountain hike. Cozy sofa seats We shifted inside the bistro for coke and fries, love their fries at chf7. They comes with 3 sauces and good portion. Try them if you are going When all arrived, we had lunch there. The food are flavourful and they have a lunch special at chf20 which includes 1 main, 1 drink and 1 coffee. The F1 with chicken breast, was so good. The chicken is so tender. We had a great time there and hope to come back again. To add on, very strong wifi. ~ Karen A
Zermama Bistro is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and inviting decor set the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we felt right at home. The menu is a delightful fusion of flavors, showcasing both local and international dishes. I highly recommend the roasted duck; it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The vegetarian options were equally impressive—my friend raved about the quinoa salad! To top it all off, the dessert selection is not to be missed. The chocolate lava cake was rich and indulgent, the perfect ending to our meal. Overall, Zermama Bistro exceeded my expectations in every way. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings! Was soll ich sagen? Das Ambiente ist rundum gelungen. Der Blick in die Küche und das abgestimmte Design passt. Der Service war aufmerksam und nett. Das Essen war wirklich sehr sehr gut. Das Bistro und das Hotel liegen im Zentrum von Zermatt, die Gornergrat Bahn fährt in Sichtweite regelmässig über die Brücke. Wir lieben den Aussenbereich, für einen Drink oder einen kleinen Snack. Es hat Heizstrahler oder einen grossen Sonnenschirm wenn es nötig ist. Gehört seit vielen Jahren zu unseren bevorzugten Locations. ~ Linda B
Eine super Einkehrmöglichkeit zum Après-Ski im Dorf. Gleich neben einer zentralen Bushaltestelle kann man hier drinnen oder draussen leckere Drinks geniessen. Die Bedienung war ausgezeichnet. Wir konnten es uns bei einer Heizsäule draussen gemütlich machen und die gute Musik geniessen. ~ Sarah E
Food is amazing. We had the cheesecake every night for the three nights we stayed here. Forgot to take a photo of the nuggets and fries in the kids menu, but that was fantastic and we ordered it almost every night too. Every dish we ordered here was delicious. I love healthy food so the F1 signatur and even the chicken salad were tasty. The only plate that I didnt enjoy as much was the apple strudel - it was too much cinnamon for my palate - but maybe it is prepared that way here. Service here is excellent - everyone was very kind and helpful. ~ Melanie L
Ein Shishabar mitten im Dorf Zermatt. Es befindet sich beim Hotel Zermama. Man kann nur draussen rauchen, da im Haus Rauchverbot ist. Es war ein gemütlicher Ort und die Snacks waren auch sehr fein. Die Restaurantangestellten waren sehr gastfreundlich. Go and enjoy 😉 ~ Shivam S
Had a lovely breakfast before our ski - Marillia was an amazing and attentive waitress, service was great. Though we were not guests at Hotel Zermama, the bistro was welcoming to non-guests as well, even allowing us to park our skis in the ski room! The Mama’s Big Breakfast was a clear winner of all our breakfasts in Zermatt - a good price for a huge meal consisting a pastry basket, yogurt granola, coffee, ginger shot, and eggs cooked to your liking. ~ Steph Y
Nada más llegar encontré un perrito que pertenece a la casa y es muy simpático! Muy recomendable el vino Petite Arvine y el plato Pit Stop, Que es muy completo y te llena y está muy bien para seguir con el apres ski El ambiente en la terraza es mágico con los fuegos, la música. Lo mejor el servicio, que te hacen sentir como en casa. Para finalizar tenemos al perro Rony, que da la bienvenida a los clientes Si tienes un bloqueo en la pista, como me pasó a mí, respira, confía en tu profesor y visita Zermama Bistró y a Rony🐶 ~ Mo S

Best Breakfast and Brunch Place in Zermatt Zermama is in our opinion the best brunch/breakfast place in Zermatt! The service is thoughtful and top notch, the food is delicious and all in all a place to experience. We‘ve been comming here for some time and this time will definetly NOT be our last! A well executed meal. Great staff. The chef for dinner is a professional who cooks everything very well and keeps a clean kitchen. My risotto had the risotto and I had the ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly. We had the apple strudel for dessert and that was very good. The drinks from the bar were also well put together. ~ Alvin C
Great quality food and service. The steak entrecôte was seated nicely and mushroom sauce was delicious. The waitress was very nice and there was live music at the start of our meal. Overall a bit expensive, but comparable to other restaurants in Zermatt and worth a visit. ~ Jonathan
Right by the Sunnegga ski lift, this is a great spot for someone getting off the mountain. Close by, and very tasty. I’d highly recommend the pork filet, served with a potato puree, roasted broccolini, and fried parsley. The pan sauce was fantastic, and had some great depth to it. ~ Matthew B
Excellent, clean restaurant with a cozy lounge. Very good wine list for the Zermatt area along with out-of-this-world appetizers. They have a charcuterie board that is an exceptional value for money. Fireplace and lounge seating is indispensable after a long day on the slopes. I highly recommend! ~ Amy B

Bartender Monica was a sparkle of joy. We had just got into Zermatt for the first time with no idea where to go and we got lucky to stumble in here. Food was great and loved our first meal here. Come to MAMA 💃 ~ jake g
